I originally went with another set of Columbia's rain pants, but after inspecting them decided to go with these. When they arrived, you can tell they are a quality product. The pants themselves are extremely light weight, but a very durable material. I spend most of my time off trail, so durability is extremely important to me. I could be out for several days in the rain, and if my gear fails, it could be a major issue for me. These pants pack easily, and compress to a small space in my pack. the Omni-wick technology isn't something that I think is beneficial, but if it helps with the comfort of the pants, then great! As far as water sealing, the seams are tapped, and the entire shell will bead water for days! This is probably one of the best rain pants that I've come across.
I would recommend this product.

Good waterproof pants, nice DWR-type finish; the water beads up and rolls off. I wear them biking to work in Portland's rainy climate. The cut isn't too loose for biking, but you will have to wear a pants holder on your ankle to keep them out of the front chain rings.
I am 6'2", 220 lbs with a 34" waist and 34" inseam. My primary hobby is mountain biking, so my legs are pretty big. I ordered the large and they fit well alone and are big enough to fit over my work slacks.
Cut is pretty nice, waterproofness and breathability is good. I have a Gore-Tex Paclite shell for on top and the breathability of these seems on-par with that. I wore them in the shower for 15 minutes and the DWR finish shed all water and the fabric did not get wet at all. Seams are sealed and WP/breathable membrane underneath. The Omni-tech membrane seems like a 2.5-layer membrane, and gets a bit clammy on bare skin, but the Omni-wick evap is a very nice membrane, on par with the higher-quality Mountain Hardwear stuff. Cannot comment on longevity/durability as I have only had these a couple of weeks.
For the price, they are a pretty good deal. One thing is I am not sure about Columbia's return policy if they start leaking after using for a while.
I would recommend this product.

The material was a little lighter than expected. overall fit well and comfort was great. The pants are not an every day use pants but if a rain shower pops up they will do the trick
I would recommend this product.

I bought these pants in conjunction with the Trail Turner Shell (jacket) and had (originally) intended to use them as pull on rain gear for use while fly fishing, trail hiking and other active motion activities. Alas, for these types of activities, I found the weight of the material a bit light (calling into question abrasion resistance) and Columbia's "Active" fit to be a wee bit more binding than I would have preferred.
These mild criticisms aside, the jacket and pants have now become what I call my "Urban Assault" rain suit and they both perform satisfactorily for that purpose. This is a perfect pair of rain pants for that slog across a snowy and/or rainy campus or that wet day at the farmers market.
Note: If you intend to pull these over a pair of jeans, I would highly recommend ordering a size larger than you would normally wear.
I would recommend this product.
