I have 3 of these vests , all from columbia , and 1 "off brand " what i like in the off brand features is elastic at the bottom with a draw string , the fleece is not high quality like my columbia but the vest is more functional

Bought this vest, was really surprised at how thin the material was. This vest might be ok for "looks" but was way too thin for keeping you warm.

You can't get a better vest for the money...quality and comfort are excellent. The fit is a bit big and I would have preferred elastic at the bottom of the vest, but overall I'm very satisfied.

I have been wearing Columbia fleece for years. When I got this order I thought that both the vest and jacket felt thinner than my old ones. I weighed them on a postal scale and sure enough both the jacket and the vest were 8% lighter than my old ones. That does make a difference in the warmth. I will be ordering from a different company in the future.

The vest is comfortable but fits large. Luckily I ordered a size smaller than normal, at 6'3" the Large fits me well. The fleece is a good bit thinner than expected but I do live in the south so that may be for the best. This vest will remain at home on any trips to colder areas though.
Overall its a good vest, not a "wow this vest is awesome", but a "it's comfy and fits well". If you're looking for a lightweight fleece then this is the vest for you.
I wish it had a better zipper and drawstring in the hem.

I wanted something for these late winter days when I don't need a heavy coat, but I need some stylish protection. The Cathedral Peak fills the bill perfectly. Classic black, perfect fit, soft, comfortable and WARM.
This is a vest you can wear on a day hike or taking your special someone out to dinner.

I have 3 other Columbia vests in different colors. They fit extremely well and are so comfortable I wear one of them nearly everyday. I looked at area clothing stores and when I traveled, in search of a black Columbia vest. No one had one in stock, from Illinois to Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and inbetween. I finally went to Columbia on-line and found it. The service was excellent and the vest keeps me warm when it cools down in here. I can be as active as needed and it moves with me well. Great vest! I think I have all the colors now.

This vest is great for bar-hopping, hiking, and lounging. Lightweight, soft, and nonconstricting this vest is versatile. Here in Auburn it is 80 degrees one day then 30 degrees the next and everywhere in between so this vest is a great alternative to a jacket in these conditions. Reviewers want to say that this vest is thin and cheaply made, but in my opinion a vest is supposed to be a toned down and cooler feeling version of a jacket. The only drawback is the larger sizing. I wear large shirts and jackets but I ordered medium vest and it fits perfectly. Good thing I read the reviews first.

I purchased the Cathedral vest looking for something to wear while hiking as one of my layers. This product is useless. The quality of the material is poor and the vest is Paper thin offering no warmth whatsoever. I know Columbia has a great reputation and I own two Columbia fleece jackets that I love and would highly recommend. This product is expensive for a vest and I'm out the 36.00 because its useless.

I returned the item-a fleece vest.It was too loose fitting at the bottom.Elastic around the waist would improve it immensely and I would have been happy with it and would have kept it.

Initially I bought one vest for my husband. He loved it and wears it day in and day out. He runs an animal hospital and with people coming and going all day, he needed a little bit of warmth, but not as much as a jacket. So I made an in"vest"ment of sorts and bought him one in every color. (I was disapointed you were all out of the orange in size large). He now coordinates his vest with his shirts and ties each day. The perfect amount of warmth and they look great after washing and the color choices were great.
