I used this camping with the Boy Scouts this weekend and can't say enough about how great it is. I used it with a 20 degree synthetic bag. The temp got to the low 30's and I was extremely pleased with how toasty I was. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it didn't have a zipper, but understand why. I will use this for all my fall and winter trips with the Scouts going forward.
I would recommend this product.

Over all , it works well. Keeping you toasty, alone or in a sleeping bag. I tested it in a 30F bag that is known for not being comfy past 44F.With this Liner I was very comfortable down to 35F.
THE CONS:My only issue is compared to other liners like The North Face, Coleman or Alps, it does NOT have a zipper. This makes it difficult to work with inside of a sleeping bag. First you have to shimmy into this Potato-sack styled liner. Then wiggling into a comfortable spot in the sleeping bag , and be challenged to zip up your sleeping bag with out the liner getting bunched up half way down the bag. **I got around this by taking it to my Tailor, and had him put a zipper on it. Now it is MUCH MORE user friendly with a sleeping bag. If they continue this product next year and add a Zipper I would like to purchase two more for my family. But for the extra money, I would pay more for another brand to have the convenience of an easy in and out of my sleeping bag .When I am tired after a long day on the trail or in the middle of the night when I have to go to the bathroom.
I do not recommend this product.

I did not know what to expect with the size. I was delighted to see it was a mere handful. The Omni Heat is a very efficient warmer. I will use it in my 3 sleeping bags without worry of added bulk or weight. This is critical in backpacking.
I would recommend this product.
