I will be using these shorts a lot on and in the water of the Gulf of Mexico. The material is lightweight and will dry quickly but tough enough to stand up to fishing tackle and wading. I like the way they look and fit, and they were a great price.
Activities: Canoeing, Fishing - Flats Fishing, Boating, Kayaking, Fishing - Freshwater
Conditions: Sweaty, Sunny, Windy, Humid, Open Ocean, Hot

I have been looking at this shorts on-line for months now. I got a Birthday coupon from Columbia so I thought I could use it on water shorts. My size is about 10-12 so I ordered a L. in black. I might order a M. if they restock them for next summer. They are long enough to be comfortable when swimming and sitting. please restock them. I will order them again.

the search for adequate paddleboarding shorts for my lovely bride was getting pretty frustrating until we ran across these: not shortshorts like most in the stores, and no manlyman patterns like most of the rest. She likes the fabric and the side panels; and the fit is, um, verry nice. . .Thanks!

Love these shorts - they are perfect on the water when kayaking or canoeing. I worn them on a kayak where my backside got extremely wet but until I got out of the kayak I did not realize how wet I had gotten. The fabric is great for water sports - very comfortable, flexible and repels water away from your skin. I especially love the stretch in the fabric which moves with you and doesn't bind at all or lose its shape. These shorts are the perfect length also. These are a little pricey, as a lot of Columbia products are, but they are high quality and very much worth every penny if you will be in or near water and will give many years of use. Highly recommend these shorts.

Love These Shorts!

I purchased these shorts as my primary pair for an 8 day whitewater rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. They are incredibly comfortable! They also rinse clean easily and dry very quickly. They got quite a workout - plenty of hiking through water and scaling rocks on this trip and came back in great condition. The side pocket is a little small, but other than that,no complaints. Since coming home, these shorts have quickly become my first choice when the weather is warm enough.
I would recommend this product.
