Don't have to wear gloves real often in NC but these are a great fit and great warmth. I bought a pair of size small because I like the tight fit and tactile sense. The "built-in" curve of the hand is perfect for outdoor activity where grip is necessary.
I would recommend this product.

I've read other Columbia glove reviews and I can see that I've had a similar experience.
Like others, I have a Columbia omni heat jacket which works extremely well. I decided to invest in these expensive gloves because I hoped for a similar experience.
Unfortunatly, they don't work anywhere near as well as the coat. The omni-heat thermal reflective fabric directly on my hands doesn't do much, other than make my fingers slightly clammy (but not warm). In fact, my fingers get as cold as they do in my much cheaper ski gloves. I would not have expected this from such an expensive pair of gloves.
On the plus side, they do look stylish and the one hand shock cord is a lovely  design revelation, but ultimately these are not the reasons I need the gloves.
I want my hands to get warm when I'm wearing gloves, and these don't do that. I'm disappointed and feel I've wasted my money.
I do not recommend this product.

I retract my statement that the shock cord is a lovely thing. On the left hand glove, the strip of cloth that holds onto the plastic shock cord tab has been torn off. I've looked at the right one and it's barely hanging on.
This is just one month after buying them. Unbelievable. AVOID.
