I like most aspects of this coat. It has lost of spacious pockets and the outer core is nice (although having some reflective stripping would be nice).
I used this coat this winter to replace my 10 year old HH ski jacket. I used it every day on my bike commutes to work and home (about 25 minutes each way) in Toronto. What I hate about the coat is the Omni-Heat® thermal reflective lining. If I am not wearing a long-sleeve shirt underneath, it takes only about 3 minutes of my body warming up (even when walking) for the lining to start to cling to my arms, making me even hotter and more uncomfortable. When you try this coat on in the store you don't work up enough heat to notice.
Also, I noticed the other day that all the thermal reflective lining in the arm pits of the liner have been warn away (see photo).
Needless to say, I have returned to using my old HH fleece liner with the outside core of this jacket and my reflective bike jacket over top - my Frankenjacket.
I do not recommend products with this liner.
Not happy Columbia.

The Women winter blur jacket that I purchased is a great buy. I love the fact that the jacket compliments my body temperature. The sleeves length is great. I am a tall person with long arms so often it is hard to find a jacket that has long sleeves. The only disagreement I have is the hood on the jacket. The fact that the strings need to be pulled in order to tighten the hood is a little annoying. Because often if I make a little to much movement the strings release and then the hood falls down. Other than that I apprecitate the brand a lot.
I would recommend this product.
