Very nice jacket! Have not got to use it yet for the intended purpose I bought it. Which was as an over layer covering on cold winter hunts. I like the weight of this jacket and the sizing will allow me to wear multiple layers under this jacket and still allow for full range of motion. Also the outer layer on this jacket is both quiet and the camo pattern is a good match to the rest of my hunting clothing. looking forward to future hunts with this addition to my wardrobe and I know the quality will allow it to last for several years. Thanks...
I would recommend this product.

I hunt some pretty rugged country so I wanted a jacket that I could move in and not have to wear a lot of bulk to keep warm. This jacket delivers on all accounts. I used it for deer and elk seasons and it performed with sunny morning weather and snow in the later seasons. I only have two things I would change about the jacket, a removable hood would be nice and some zippers in the underarm for ventilation when needed. Other than that I am completely happy with my purchase.
I would recommend this product.

I bought this for bow hunting in the Hudson Valley of New York. I will sometimes sit in a stand or ground blind. I will also participate on deer drives where I walk through terrain driving deer for other shooters. I was looking for something lightweight, breathable, and would still keep me warm. I originally purchased the Stealth Shot 2 jacket but returned it in favor of the Wind Stalker
I ordered these in medium...I'm 5'7", 180 pounds.
The jacket was very comfortable and quiet when I would draw my bow. Despite having 2 layers underneath the jacket (Columbia Heavy Fleece base layer and then a Tek 4 Heavy Layer under them) it fit well and was not snug.
In 25 degree weather, all 3 layers kept my upper body comfortable, despite cold wind. In the same weather, I only wore the Columbia base layer and Wind Stalker Jacket pants but was still very comfortable walking through terrain (up and down hills) driving deer. Once it was my turn to sit, I did not feel any moisture build up...the Columbia gear did it's job wicking away my sweat.
The pockets are plentiful and deep. There are side pockets and a breast pocket. The pockets are so deep that I thought I lost my keys when they were actually deep inside the jacket.
I have two complaints, one of which I have addressed in my other reviews:
1) For the $220 price, you are competing with other archery clothing that offers scent protection. This Columbia gear doesn't claim to offer any scent protection at all (which is why I relied on Scent spray and Tek 4 silver). If this product did something to mask scent, it would have rated an Excellent in function for me.
I paid less than full price (but cannot mention specifics due to review guidelines) for this jacket thanks to a coupon--for that price I would do it again. I would explore and consider different clothing options if you are only able to purchase a set for $220 and dead set on having some form of scent elimination technology.
2) When wearing my Stealth Shot 2 pants and this jacket, the camouflage pattern is the same but the Jacket is slightly more "bolder/brighter" in color. It isn't very noticeable unless you spend some time staring at it...but it will likely annoy some people so I mention it in the review. The quality and craftsmanship of the jacket is still top notch.
I would recommend this product.
