I currently am using these boots at work during my ten hour days on my feet. These boots are very light weight, and extremely comfortable. I would highly suggest these boots to anybody.

Use this book for hunting and hiking and it was suggested my an employee. He also suggested the Sorel waterproofer it is a bit over priced but does work well. Not to high and not to low of ankle support.
I would recommend this product.

First time use on long-hike through snow and rain

The boot is very comfortable for a first time use. I felt a bit of a heel blister coming on, I am glad I wore wool socks to help prevent this. My feet stayed very warm.
Like I said, I hiked in the snow for several hours. At the end of the day my socks were wet, but my feet were not warm. It could be due to my feet sweating and/or not great respiration of the boot. They have a new technology now called "out-dry" that helps combat this. I would look for this new technology when being in snow for hours at a time. Otherwise, I think this will be a great boot for summer and rainy weather, but not submersion in snow!!
I would recommend this product.

The Gorge Mid Omni-Tech is comfortable, good for hiking in wet, muddy conditions. The sole protects well when stepping on small rocks, good grip on most surfaces. The boot seems to let out the heat while hiking.
I would recommend this product.

I took these shoes on trip to Asia. You can walk 5 hours non stop in these boots and your feet don't feel like you were wearing heavy boots. I treated them with a protective spray coat and walked for two days in rain - my feet dry! Good protection. Comfortable.

size was just tad small. i usually wear 11.5 and a 12 seemed to fit better. just took the shoes out on a 4 day hikes in NH. most of them were snow covered and my feet stayed dry. they were real comfortable right out of the box and for the price id highly reccomend 'em.
