I ordered this shoe as well for my three-year-old along with some boots. The back strap is set and pitches his foot forward so that his toes are crammed into the front. It's not true to size for this reason. If you want to correctly fit your child's foot into this shoe get at least a size larger than you would otherwise.
I do not recommend this product.
